One-third of the way into the 2015 season, the Wolves are all wins both in AFBÖ DIV2 and in the HFL. A 5-0 record (3-0 in Austria and 2-0 in Hungary) to start the season is a good enough reason to be confident, especially knowing that all but one of those were landslide victories. Even though things look good so far, the Wolves have no intent of laying back to relax.
All of the games the Wolves have played this season were decided by 20+ points, and they have only trailed a couple of times, early in those games. Although this looks fine on paper, if you look at the finer details, you'll see that the team, especially the offense, struggled in the first halves of games played in the Austrian league. The roster for those games usually have more younger players, with less experience under their belts. But still, nearly scoreless first halves are a phenomenon that definitely need to be corrected, as there might come an opponent later on that is capable of capitalizing on that flaw.

Now that the easier part of the season is in the past, it is time to concentrate on the tougher, more difficult part, which is starting right this week. On Saturday the Wolves will face the Rebels, who call themselves Cowbells this year, and who they last met in last year's HFL final. That game will most probably be a serious, and hard fought battle spiced up with a little bit of trash talk here and there, as these two teams have a tiny bit of bad blood between them. Referees I imagine will have a difficult time handling some of the more intense players and the situations that those players will create.
